to check for signs of diabetes affecting your eyes

States and can be prevented with early detection and intervention
- Plaquenil screening: this anti-arthritis drug and other high-risk medication such as steroids,
ethambutol, INH, and interferon can have serious eye side effects that
should be monitored by an Eye MD

- Evaluation of amblyopia also known as “lazy eye”
Surgical evaluations and procedures
- Cataracts: is the number one cause of reversible blindness in the world. Cataract surgery is the world’s number one most successful procedure in
the human body. Today Eye Physicians of North Houston can offer a wide variety of visual options following cataract surgery including the new multifocal lens implants.
- Glaucoma: although medical treatment is usually the first line of treatment, laser and surgical options are
performed at Eye Physicians of North Houston to prevent blindness.
- Blepharoplasty: when droopy eyelids start to weigh heavy on your eyes or block
some of your superior visual field, you may qualify for this procedure
using your medical insurance to remove the excess eyelid skin
- Eyelid lesions: both cosmetic and medical lesions can be removed in our office in
most cases

- We provide full contact lens services at competitive prices
- Established patients can renew and order their contact lens prescriptions online
LASIK evaluations
- Our established patients can get a formal LASIK evaluation and be scheduled for LASIK surgery if they are a candidate
